Prenatal Ultrasound
We use this to diagnose pregnancy, check number of fetuses, estimate due date, determine the gender of the fetus, check for birth defects that affect the brain, spinal cord and other vital organs of the baby and to determine the overall health of the baby. The scan can also show the size and position of the fetus and its placenta, in addition to the baby’s expected weight and amniotic fluid volume.
